Q. Keith, congratulations. You got a half point out of that. You never know. Around here you're down 3 at one point in the match, lipped out the putt at 17, come up with a great chip shot at 18, and get the half point, which is huge.

KEITH MITCHELL: Yeah, this tournament is impossible to predict, so half point is better than nothing. Didn't play best on the front side and I played much better on the back.

Glad I made that birdie on 18, because I got to play one of the best players, if not the best player in the world tomorrow.

Then Rickie Fowler, who is obviously playing good, he won today, and has been playing great the last couple months. Happy to at least get a half, but just wish I played a little better on the front.

Q. What was going on on the front? You had a couple bogeys early to give him the 2-up lead. What did you straighten out to get back in it?

KEITH MITCHELL: I knew I was hitting it well. I just had a couple miss-cues on 2 and 3. Really hit it great all day; just had a -- the greens are slower than usual today. Billy even left that putt short on the last hole. Just like with no repercussions.

I did that on 3 and three-putted, and left the chip shot way short on 2 I thought was straight downhill.

So really that was it. Just calibrate the green speeds.
