Q. Danielle, a round good enough to be in contention going into tomorrow. Difficult conditions out there. You had eight birdies on the scorecard. Certainly nothing easy about this golf course and the wind.

DANIELLE KANG: Definitely not, but I'm just trying to focus on whatever the shot that was in front of me and try not though think about anything else.

It's been a little bit of a difficult week, so my caddie and I've been just staying in our own zone, our own bubble, and I think we did a good job today.

Q. How do you stay in the present? It's easy to say; difficult to do.

DANIELLE KANG: Oh, no, it's very difficult to do. I think it takes a lot of training and breathing and knowing what you need to do to execute the shot and follow what's next.

Q. You're in really good position going into tomorrow. How's the DK special putter been? It's a putter that you helped design alongside Scottie Cameron and clearly been working well for you.

DANIELLE KANG: 14 clubs in my bag. I've been doing really, really well. Had some really tough chips coming in and I made some good ups and downs. Driver has been really great, too, so I can't really just say specifically it's only the putter.

I had some -- I had a few three-putts today, three-putts yesterday, but I don't like it when people only focus on one thing, and I think overall you have to strike it well off the tee and have good shots into the greens and give yourself opportunities.
