Q. Considering having your family here, who you beat, why is this one special?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: It's a lot of fun. Long day, tough day. I knew the conditions were going to get really hard late and I did a really good job of staying patient, not trying to force things, and then I got hot kind of in the middle of the round and, yeah, tried to put things away as quickly as I could.

Q. You have detailed the challenges of sleeping on the lead and playing with the lead. What was the toughest aspects of this Sunday?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Probably this morning, I would say. I actually slept amazing last night. I was pretty tired after the long day yesterday. Fortunately, I slept pretty good. Yeah, gosh, it's long.

Q. Four wins last year and Player of the Year, two wins already this season. What ways are you a better player, a different player now?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I'm not really sure. I'm just hoping to improve. I'm just trying to get a little bit better at a time, not overthink things and fortunately to be able to see some good results and enjoy some wins and I'm very thankful.

Q. What's it like having the family here, including your grandmother, watching you step by step?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: It's a lot of fun. Yeah, gosh, I don't know what to say. My dad's staring at me making it so much harder. Yeah, it's pretty special. They haven't been able to come out in a while. We got a newborn nephew who is about nine months old, so he's doing well. He's out here somewhere, I think. He's around. He's probably asleep. But it's been a lot of fun to have the whole family out this week and we're going to really celebrate.
