Quick Quotes

Q. Amazing day today. Could you talk us through that.

EILA GALITSKY: I didn't feel like I played my best today. I missed a couple of birdie putts. But all in all it was a good day for my first time being in the lead and everybody watching me. It was a little bit, the first couple holes was a little nerve wracking.

Q. Can you talk us through those holes then.

EILA GALITSKY: On the 1st I almost bogeyed it, but luckily I made the putt.

Then on the 2nd I was feeling it a little bit because Minsol did make a birdie on the 1st. Then she went on to make a birdie on the 2nd.

Then on the 3rd I just started singing to myself. I hope you didn't catch that on camera, but, yeah, I sang to myself and that really helped me calm down.

Q. What were you singing?

EILA GALITSKY: Some rap songs.

Q. Rap, interesting. Okay. Good choice. Is that what you do to sort of get yourself back into it?

EILA GALITSKY: Yeah, every time I make a bad shot, instead of -- I used to be very emotional, threw my club around, but now I start singing to myself.

Q. Two birdies doesn't sound like a bad shot.

EILA GALITSKY: Well, I did have two birdies on the back nine, but the front nine was a bit of a slow start today, yeah.

Q. What are you working on ahead of tomorrow?

EILA GALITSKY: I just trying to dial in my wedges a little bit more, and my drives.

Q. Can you talk us through a bit more detail those birdies that you did make today.

EILA GALITSKY: On 7 I think I had 235 downwind. I hit a 4-iron a little bit right of the green. I had a little chip. Hit it a little past the hole and then sank the putt.

Then on 9 I hit my drive a little bit right than I would have wanted. I think I had 75 yards in. I played it 80 because it was a little bit uphill. Then I hit it to about five feet and then I made the putt.

Then the other birdie was on 11. I hit a 9-iron into that green. I think it was 143 yards. Hit it a little left. It was like a 20-footer, 25-footer. And I made that putt. I didn't really try to make the putt, I tried to get it close, but somehow it went in. No complaints here.

And then the last hole I made a birdie on 18. It was 220, no, 230-something in there. I hit a 4-iron again a little bit left. I thought it was going to go in the water because I chunked it a little bit. It almost did. Good thing I had a stance though. So I putted out and luckily made a birdie.

Q. Going into the final day with a three-shot lead are you feeling confident? What are you going to do to try and maintain that?

EILA GALITSKY: Well I wouldn't say I have it in the bag because as you know these players, they're really good. I'll just try to play my game and if they, if one of them has a really good game tomorrow, then they deserve it. But I'll just try to do my best.
