Q. You had a pretty good solid round out there today. Can you talk us through it?

RIANE MALIXI: I would say I did a better job in my putting today and my iron shots. I was able to place them where I wanted to, and then I was able to hit my targets. I was consistent throughout the day.

Q. Any particular holes that worked really well or stood out for you?

RIANE MALIXI: Not really. It was just more of consistency. But then I had a couple of mishaps -- not really mishaps but funny mistakes. But then I was able to recover. But I think that was the key for today.

Q. What mistakes did you make that you want to work on?

RIANE MALIXI: Maybe a little on my chipping and more on my 9-iron. I had a chunk and run on the 12th hole. I didn't do well, but fortunately, I made a birdie from there, so it was a good round.

Q. So you made four birdies today. Can you talk us through them?

RIANE MALIXI: I hit good iron shots, kind of used my pitching wedge onto the green and just made a couple of long putts, 15-footers and below.

Q. Are you feeling confident for the weekend then?

RIANE MALIXI: Yeah, with the game for today, I hope to like stick to the same mindset and try to stay in the present as much as possible for the next two days. There are a lot of holes left and anything can happen.
