Q. Great round today. Can you talk us through it?

FIONA XU: So started off with nine pars on the front nine, but I made a few birdies on the back nine, one on 11, 14, and 17.

Q. What happened on those holes that worked well?

FIONA XU: Just my approach. My approaches went close to the pins. 17, I just had an up-and-down.

Q. What happened on 18?

FIONA XU: So one of my playing partners had a ruling, so I think I just waited. We waited for awhile. I decided to go first because another playing partner had to get another ruling. So, yeah, probably just went too quick.

Q. Threw you off a little bit?

FIONA XU: Yeah.

Q. So anything you'll be working on this afternoon going into the weekend?

FIONA XU: I think I'll work on my putting, try and make more birdies.

Q. Are you feeling pretty confident?

FIONA XU: Yeah.

Q. Anything else that happened out there today?

FIONA XU: I think on 14 I had a really good approach. I had a 6-iron in and I was just 1 foot short of the hole. So that was a good birdie.
