Q. Finally you will have the opening game of the WBC soon.

XIANG WANG: Yes. All I can say is put all my effort into this game. I'm concentrating.

Q. How do you feel the team's atmosphere, team's condition?

XIANG WANG: The atmosphere is great. We have a solid 30 baseball players, and everybody is confident.

Q. What about the team's condition?

XIANG WANG: Well, I pitched three games after arriving in Japan, and I evaluate myself very good, so my condition is very good.

Q. You will soon play against Team Japan. What's your game plan?

XIANG WANG: It is a very great stage to play against Japan because Japan is one of the best in the world, so all I can say is I would like to show what we can do on that stage.

Q. You are playing under a new manager you've been playing for the national team. What's the difference in team China under the new manager?

XIANG WANG: Yes, Mr. Dean Treanor, the Skipper, after arriving, the atmosphere is the dugout is very good as well as off the field. He's always pushing our back, even after someone makes a mistake.
