Q. Welcome to the fifth edition of the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific. You have played in every single one of those. Can you tell us how you feel being back here again?

PATRICIA SINOLUNGAN: I'm feeling excited. I'm looking forward to doing good on the week. The golf course is in great condition. It's a tough track, but I'm optimistic and looking forward to a great week.

Q. You've played in every edition so far of this championship. What have you learned over the years?

PATRICIA SINOLUNGAN: Over the years I have learned that The R&A course set up is always challenging, is always demanding with the length and also demanding in terms of accuracy as well, but every single one of them has always been in great conditions, pure.

So just I've learned that as long as I manage myself, my emotions, and my game well around the course, I will do fine.

Q. Have you made lots of friends playing here every year?

PATRICIA SINOLUNGAN: Oh, yes, definitely. Everyone is always fun.

Q. Is there anything about the course you can tell us this week?

PATRICIA SINOLUNGAN: Anything about the course? I think the course is set up to be pretty long and also is very hilly, as you can see. It's going to be a test of golf and also a physical test as well, navigating the course, going up-and-down. It's a pretty narrow track, so accuracy will be one of the key points this week. So just having a good course management plan and being accurate will be good.

Q. So what's your goal for this week?

PATRICIA SINOLUNGAN: My goal is to be staying present and be focused on every single shot I face on the course because I believe that as long as I do that, the results will take care of its own. So we'll see.

Q. There's a lot at stake this week with the exemptions to the majors and the other championships for the winner. How does that make you feel? Are you inspired to get those?

PATRICIA SINOLUNGAN: Yes, definitely the three majors are up for grabs this week for the champion. That's definitely a great motivation that drives me to do my best this week. So I will do my best every single time, stay present, be focused and hopefully be in contention to win.
