Quick Quotes

Q. Another wet day but played solid out there, finished second here at Asia's major. Tell me what you're feeling.

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, obviously a little disappointed with today. Didn't play really well but kind of didn't really battle as much as I wanted to. I just made a couple kind of silly mistakes here and there. It was nice to finish with a birdie and be in contention again, be in the final group feeling the emotions and hopefully I can build off of that going into the next few events now in the States.

Q. What did you see this week from your game that maybe kept you in it and in contention or something that stood out?

NELLY KORDA: I think my putting. I was pretty impressed with my putting this week. Yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, you've just got to get it in the hole and I did do that for the majority part of it. I also made some silly mistakes with my irons that normally I wouldn't actually make. But I think it's just a little bit swing-related, so I'm going to go home, work on that and hopefully I can tighten up all the loose ends.

Q. Speaking of tightening up, I know the weather delays, it's challenging with the body you're dealing with now. How proud are you with your body's ability to cope with all this? Coming in with four holes to play wasn't ideal.

NELLY KORDA: I actually didn't honestly know if we were going to finish the last hole. I'm super, super happy that we got to finish and I get to leave tonight. It's always tough when you go in and out and you have to kind of deal with all the rain delays, but at the end of the day, everyone is kind of dealing with it and just got to keep your head down and know that every shot counts and to take advantage of every situation you can.

Q. And then final one from me. A little bit of a break after this. What are you taking from this maybe to that break or maybe to the next event?

NELLY KORDA: A couple days off. Just going to work on my swing a little. Kind of hopefully dial in my game a little bit more ahead of the two events that I'll be playing in Arizona and Palos Verdes and I'll have two weeks off again and I'll be playing the first major of the year. It's kind of crazy just thinking about it but it's literally right around the corner, and yeah, I'm just going to try to dial it in.
