CHARLES HOWELL III: We just want to get our first win, and if we could do it at the first event of the year, it would be a big deal for us. But with the Aces hanging right there and the Fireballs up there, those are eight really good players, so we've got our hands full.

Q. I think you have more experience out here than anybody else, 13 starts --

CHARLES HOWELL III: Yes, this golf course is something in that like there's 18 birdieable holes and there's 18 hard holes. Like it's really hard to -- you never get comfortable out here, and I think that's a big deal in that when you're playing a final round in the wind, which it will be, on this golf course, it's about kind of like surviving, if you will.

The guy and team that wins tomorrow will do just the best surviving, in my mind.

Q. Do you think your experience has helped you, or was most of that in November --

CHARLES HOWELL III: I mean, the course is a bit different, but I think it has. Sometimes that experience can hurt you because you've seen yourself do everything on every hole. But no, I think it has. It's a venue that is nice to have a return venue, so when you're practicing and preparing you have an idea of what's going on. You're not trying to learn something new, so to speak.

But yeah, I think any of the guys that have played here before maybe have a slight bit of an advantage. But now that all the guys have seen it, it's more about who can actually drive the ball the best, get the thing in the fairway, get it in play.

Q. I haven't seen pairings for tomorrow. I suspect you three Cowboys will be --

CHARLES HOWELL III: I certainly hope so. I really enjoyed playing with them yesterday. They're obviously two really great players that have played unbelievable golf on LIV. So it's a comfortable pairing. It's something that I would like.

But listen, one of the great things, too, about this shotgun start is we're all going out at the same time, so you feel like there's a guy lurking there that goes and shoots 63 or 64 and he can go and win the golf tournament.

But yeah, I hope we get that pairing. It's a comfortable pairing for me for sure.

Q. I don't think the Crushers have gone into a round with the lead --

CHARLES HOWELL III: Exactly. We'd love to grab our first win somehow, and we've been close a few times, but boy, the 4Aces sure have had a bit of a monopoly on winning, but the Fireballs are up there, too, which are great players. With the team thing and three scores counting, you can get some pretty big swings.

We've got our hands full tomorrow.

Q. What does it say that you guys are leading and Bryson hasn't had a counting round yet?

CHARLES HOWELL III: Listen, it shows the crazy nature of golf, number one; and number two, I know Bryson has a low one in him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him shoot a low one tomorrow.

Q. But this course seems to really set up for you three, kind of a ball striker's course.

CHARLES HOWELL III: You've seen a mix of winners here throughout the years, and with the wind blowing a bit, it gets tricky in spots, obviously. But yeah, I still wouldn't be surprised to see Bryson get it figured out and shoot a low one tomorrow.
