CELINE BOUTIER: But, yeah, very happy with my finish.

Q. I know you fly under the French flag, but you do have some Thai heritage. Is it cool to be in Thailand playing so well?

CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, definitely. I feel like it's almost like my second home. I used to come here every summer with my parents. Still have a little bit of family here, my grandma, uncle, so always nice to come back.

Definitely feels nice to be playing well.

Q. What did you work on in the off-season that you maybe saw pay off today? That's some really good playing those last seven or eight holes.

CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I feel like I worked a lot on my long game. Coming back from the off-season I didn't feel very comfortable until now, and I feel like it's just getting back into the groove just this week, so it feels nice to be able to hit it close again.

Q. What about this golf course suits your game? I know it's playing a little bit firmer than in the past, which seems to be helping people out there. What do you like about it?

CELINE BOUTIER: You know, I'm not sure. I feel like just feel comfortable out there. The lines suit me visually I think, and I just am able to be a little bit more aggressive than normally.

Yeah, I feel like it's just about positioning yourself. You know you're going to have a lot of opportunities, and so just have to make some putts but stay patient.

Q. What goes through your head when you're making birdies back-to-back or having a stretch like you finished?

CELINE BOUTIER: Honestly, it's more like relief because I feel like it was just a lot of opportunities, not making many. Just trying to stay patient, and then finally when it started to sink in, I just, yeah, just felt relieved and was able to relax a little bit more, and that's normally when they starting to go in, too, when you start to relax and feel more comfortable out there.

Q. What are some of your goals for the season? Got a win couple years ago. What are you looking for from your game in 2023?

CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I would love to win this season. I feel like I definitely been playing very solid last year and coming to this year, struggled a little bit, but I feel like I put myself in a lot of positions last year; wasn't able to turn in to wins, so I hope that this year is going to be a little bit different on that side.

Q. Off to a good start with the position heading into the weekend. What's the mindset?

CELINE BOUTIER: Just doing the same thing. I feel like there is so many opportunities out there, that the girls are going to shoot low, and you have to shoot low, too. There is still so much golf left, so I'm just really trying to take it one day at a time.
