Q. Any player from any era that you would want to have played against?
JULIUS RANDLE: Any player from any era? That's a good question. Charles Barkley maybe. He was great, obviously, but I think he was kind of before his time, too.
So maybe Charles. Jordan, obviously. Who wouldn't want to play against Jordan?
Q. (On how he thinks he’ll do in the 3-Point Contest.)
JULIUS RANDLE: We'll see, man. We'll just have fun with it and see what happens.
TREY MURPHY III: Who do you have winning the Slam Dunk Contest other than your teammate [Jericho Sims]?
JULIUS RANDLE: I heard you looked pretty impressive yesterday, man. I heard you, so I'm excited to see. I'm going to go with you. I got you.
TREY MURPHY III: Don't tell anybody. Next question. If you could have Drake --
JULIUS RANDLE: Drake. I'm going to go between Drake and J. Cole. I will go back and forth, yeah. Yes, sir.
Q. (No microphone.)
JULIUS RANDLE: Not Jalen Brunson. Not Jalen Brunson. Let's start off with that. I might go quick.
Q. What's one word that he has repeated over and over this year?
JULIUS RANDLE: Oh, he got many sayings. Heart smart together. He got a lot, man. He got a lot (laughing).
Q. (On the 3-Point Contest.)
JULIUS RANDLE: They asked me. I didn't find out until after the Atlanta game. They asked me. I said why not? Have fun with it. I practiced once. I practiced yesterday one time, and we'll see how it goes.
Q. We saw you in the house last night for Quentin Grimes playing in the Rising Stars. What did you think about his performance?
JULIUS RANDLE: He was great. I think -- I know he would have won the MVP if their team would have won, but he was great. For him to come out and put a performance on like that in that type of setting was amazing.
Q. (No microphone.)
JULIUS RANDLE: Yeah. 1,000 percent. This is way better. I guess this is a true experience, and I'm having fun with it. My family, my son, Ky, he is here. He is having a blast. Jayce, my other kid, is having a blast. That's really what it's all about for me.
Q. (On Domantas Sabonis.)
JULIUS RANDLE: Yeah, he is having a great season. His versatility has always been off the charts, so he is having a great season for him. His physicality, you know, it's tough for a lot of people to deal with, so, you know, for them to be doing what they're doing with the Sacramento Kings and that team and raising the level of play over there has been great.
