Media Day Press Conference
TYLER HERRO: Just this morning, I got some shots up, and then last night. So it was my first time really shooting with the racks and stuff like that. I was able to practice, and really looking forward to tonight.
Q. How different is it really? Is it unusual moving around, getting your feet right and all that?
TYLER HERRO: Yeah, I think it's not too different for me. I think the most what's different is when you're shooting, you're running to the next rack. You've just got to know which routes you're going to take because there's different ways you can go about it, depending on which ball you grab first, whether it's the first, second, third, where you put the money balls, and now with the (deep) zones and stuff like that, it's a different contest. I'm excited.
Q. The deep zones are well within your range?
TYLER HERRO: Yeah, I'm ready. I'm ready to knock down the (deep) zones.
Q. If you were to add a player of Kevin Love's caliber, does that help you?
TYLER HERRO: I think it would be huge. Anytime we can get somebody the caliber of Kevin Love, like you said, he's played in so many big games, so many big playoff runs and he's experienced. He's been there before. Getting a guy like that, we've seen what we can do if we add veteran players like that midway through the season. Usually that leads to good runs and long playoff runs for us as a team. I'm excited. We'll see. Hopefully he decides to bring his shooting down to the 305 and we can end the season on a very high note.
Q. What are your top three sneakers of all time?
TYLER HERRO: I'm not really a sneaker head, honestly. I just wear my regular stuff. Whatever I wear every day is what I wear. I don't really have three favorites.
Q. Do you reckon you can shoot 20 threes in a row?
TYLER HERRO: I can definitely make 20 threes in a row, definitely. I'm sure Franz can do that, too. What kind of advice do you want? What are you looking for?
Q. I need some advice for me.
TYLER HERRO: Some shooting advice? I don't know. You've got to be confident. That's my number one thing. You've got to be confident, for sure.
Q. When you put your outfit together, do you start at the shoes and work up?
TYLER HERRO: I usually start with the pants, I think. Pants, then the shirt, then the jacket. Unless there's like a piece that I really want to wear, whether it's like a jacket or whatever my main piece is, that will be my first piece. I kind of work off that.
