Quick Quotes
Q. So congratulations. A good start to the tournament overall. How would you assess your day today?
GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, it was a solid day. I gave myself plenty of chances out there. The greens are a little tricky.
Yeah, very happy with how we're hitting off the tee. Iron play has been very solid.
Q. The conditions couldn't be more different to what you played in yesterday and today. Still warm and humid, and yesterday it was blowing a gale. I mean, I guess adjusting your game to both conditions is challenging?
GABY LOPEZ: It is challenging definitely because you're making different swings, different tempos. I'm trying to keep everything very still, pretty much the same.
But it's a challenge to be able to kind of control the golf ball if you have 40 kilometers per hour or you have none.
So it's awesome that I get a chance to be here in Saudi for the first time, and very happy with the week.
Q. You've had a really promising start to your season. Obviously picked up the win in September last year. This season you started well. I think sixth in your first event on the LPGA; carried it on here. What's clicking so well at the moment for you?
GABY LOPEZ: I don't know. I think sometimes I just get -- when I get longer breaks I just come refreshed. I come with a clear mind, kind of aggressive mindset.
So I don't know. I'm just happy that this year I'm going to take a little longer breaks than other years and just going to trust my game. I know I'm doing things correctly, so we'll see what happens.
