Quick Quotes
Q. How was it out there?
LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN: Yeah, it was slow. Well, a bit windy. I didn't really hit the irons close enough like yesterday and then sort of just a slow round. A really stupid three-putt on 9 from 12 feet away. So that sort of got me back to 5-under, and then just really hung on on the back nine and made a nice eagle there on the last hole.
Yeah, I mean, got really windy again. The last seven holes was really tough playing. But yeah, it's a great golf course. The back nine, those last five -- the whole back nine really when it's this windy is tough. Happy to have come 3-under on the back nine.
Q. Going into the weekend, what sort of number do you think it's going to take to be there or thereabouts?
LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN: It's tough to say. If it probably keeps on the way it is, you would probably think around 17-, 18-under is going to be a good number, maybe a little less. Obviously Abe is playing really good golf at the moment. I would say around 16, 17 maybe.
Q. Just a couple on Oman next week. You've been there before?
LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN: Never been. Never been there. Never played it. It'll be fun. I've heard good things about the golf course.
Q. How important is it to take the game of golf to these new countries to continue to grow the game in Asia and worldwide?
LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN: You need the top players to go and play in these places. Might be one thing taking golf to a new spot, but you need the players to go and play -- the better players. It's great, I hear the field is going to be great next week, and this week's field is really good. We need to do that to grow the game in places, but we need to see the top guys playing there.
