Quick Quotes
Q. Obviously you've played that 18th quite a few times, especially in the playoff with Peter last year. How far is that shot from the bunker and how did you get it so close?
BROOKS KOEPKA: I think we were about 228, so it was a good 7-iron, just hit it right in there. Obviously it's downwind, so anything short of that green is going to bounce up, and from there you're just trying to put it on the green.
Q. How do you feel overall?
BROOKS KOEPKA: I'd say I was unlucky. I had a decent putt, playing a little just outside the cup, and the wind is blowing off the top and straight downhill, so just maybe a touch too hard, and the wind didn't take it, either, so it's just one of those things.
Q. Generally your round you felt okay out there?
BROOKS KOEPKA: Yeah, I'm hitting better shots, definitely hitting better shots. More rust came off I feel like just from yesterday to today. That's a goal of mine this week, get rid of that stuff and just be more consistent.
Q. You're playing next week. Is it your first time in Oman?
BROOKS KOEPKA: No, I've been to Oman before, but I don't know if I've been to this course or not.
Q. How important is it to spread the game in these regions to grow the game throughout the world and in Asia?
BROOKS KOEPKA: I mean, I've pretty much played in more countries than pretty much any other American maybe besides Pete Uihlein. We've been around the block. We've been to a lot of these places before playing golf, so it's nothing new to us, to be honest with you. Yeah, just decided to go back and knock some rust off.
