Q. Well played today, 5-under, can you give us a summary of your round?

THOMAS PIETERS: Yesterday was really good. I putted really nicely and this morning kind of did the same thing. I hit it close on 7. Made a really good putt and pulled my drive on 9. Rough is very juicy, so it will be tough out there today.

Q. And before Abu Dhabi and The Hero Cup, of course, you had some time off. You welcomed a new one to the family but your game seems relatively unfazed. Overall, how sharp do you feel and how ready are you for the rest of the tournament?

THOMAS PIETERS: I didn't feel very good the first two weeks. It's come back slowly. The ball-striking is coming back. The putting is good, so hopefully if the ball-striking gets back to normal, we can do some fun things.

Q. From all of us, a massive happy birthday. You've got your family out here as well. You've got a lot of time off now for the Friday. What's your plans?

THOMAS PIETERS: I want to say pool but I don't think so. Maybe trampoline park or something.
