Quick Quotes
Q. With the winds up, was it the most challenging day of the week?
DANIELLE KANG: Not really. I hit 15 greens, so I three-putted all over the place. Putter has been very cold this week. Made a putter change and I don't like it, so I'm going to try and figure that out for the next few weeks.
Q. What was your overall takeaway from the week? You guys have a little break.
DANIELLE KANG: Overall takeaway I think I heard a lot of positives and negatives about it. I think couple of the feedbacks that I got honestly is I want everybody to enjoy a bit more, the celebrities to be spotlighted. They're taking the time out to support the LPGA, instead of putting them in the back nine on a Friday. They're here to play with the LPGA players.
So having more opportunity and respecting that I think will be good moving forward. I'm very thankful for Mark Wang, CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations always upping this purse and hosting this event on a most prestigious golf course. Lake Nona is a great track. I just think this event has a lot of potential, and if we just have our ears and hearts open to what the amateurs and celebrities have to say, I think we can become the next Pebble Beach event. We're on the right path; I think we can expedite that process.
Is was a little bit bumming for me to not be able to see or play with people multiple times when I wanted to or we don't get a choice to. During a competition not a lot of people out here handicapped zero or plus two, so what are they out here for? What are we doing out here? And what's the goal, both of us?
I think that's something we can chat about behind the scenes and hopefully when we come back next year everyone will be happy.
