Q. Sometimes players say there is such a thing as a good bogey. Was the one on the last a good bogey?
SHANE LOWRY: Yeah, it was a nice way to finish. Well, not a nice way to finish but nice putt to hole on the last. Disappointed to make bogey but a bad lie in the bunker off the tee and you're behind the 8-ball from there.
So I'm only three back going into the weekend and that's where I want to be. I want to put myself in position come Sunday afternoon to give myself a chance to win this tournament, and I think I've done some great work the first two days, and looking forward to the weekend now.
Q. How well do you think you played to shoot 70 today?
SHANE LOWRY: I played good today. I missed a couple of chances today and even a couple of short par putts. It could have been quite low today. But it was tricky out there. The greens were getting shiny in the afternoon. The wind picked up and the course started to play a little bit firmer, which is pretty good. It's nice to see it playing that way.
So yeah, should be an exciting weekend. I think this he leave the course be and let Mother Nature take care, it will play firm and fast come Sunday afternoon, which will be nice.
Q. You're renowned for your ability to play in these conditions, moving it around left and right; how much were you doing it out there?
SHANE LOWRY: I was doing it a lot out there today. Yeah, especially when pins are tucked, and there's a lot of crosswinds on this course. There's only one hole that plays downwind and that's the 7th hole, the par 5. The rest, it's crosswinds on every hole. It's very tricky out there, so yeah, you have to be in very good control of your ball.
