Q. For our audience, tell us about your experience today for Kids Day.
LAWRENCE JOHNSON: My name is Lawrence Johnson. I play defensive tackle here at Purdue. I am a senior.
My experience today with the kids was great. It was a lot of fun to come out here and be with the kids that have a lot of energy. I am a little older, so my youth years are past me, but it was fun to come out here and run around with the kids and just show them a great time. It actually showed us a great time today.
Q. When you're a big dude getting on rides, do you have any trepidation about that?
LAWRENCE JOHNSON: You know, to ask if there's a weight limit all the time, because I'm a bigger guy. Sometimes the height, you may be too tall and the ride don't close, but we made it work today.
Q. Did you see the scared faces?
LAWRENCE JOHNSON: I couldn't see it, because I was screaming myself. I am really not a ride guy, but I was out here with the kids, so I was like, enjoy myself and enjoy the time with the kids.
Q. What challenges do you see from LSU trying to stop them as a defense?
LAWRENCE JOHNSON: They are really experienced in some part of the offense. They are really good up front and their running backs run really hard. It will be a challenge for us to stop the run every week, and I think we are practicing and ready to take on that challenge.
Q. A quarterback like Jayden Daniels who can run and pass, do you see that pretty often or what are the challenges there?
LAWRENCE JOHNSON: You don't see it as much in the Big Ten. You see it sometimes but not as much. We have seen it throughout the season, so we are just going to try the best we can to contain his run game.
Q. Have you met Drew Brees?
LAWRENCE JOHNSON: Yes, I have. I see him walking around the facility sometimes. Just say, hey, here and there and go on about my day.
