Q. Here with Aline Krauter. Another solid day. Not a surprise. 4-under 68 out here. Evaluate your round.

ALINE KRAUTER: I mean, I got off to a rough start. Started two bogeys on 4 and 5. That wasn't great. Then I shot 1-under on the front nine actually, so I feel like I got back in the groove pretty quickly, which was nice.

Then the back nine was pretty solid all around.

Q. Obviously had that hole yesterday as well. How do you maintain such a positive attitude and stay patient when these things are happening out there?

ALINE KRAUTER: Yeah, it was hard after those two bogeys, but I knew I had a lot of golf left, and especially with tomorrow coming up, too, I was trying to stay in the present. Gary told me that a lot today. Stay in the present. It will all be good. It ended up working out.

Q. Are you a player that can kind of get a little fiery out there? If so, do you use that to your advantage?

ALINE KRAUTER: I definitely use that to my advantage if I do get that way, but I've learned to stay pretty level headed out there. I feel like I'm doing a good job with that.

Q. One more round left. I got to ask the question. You're near the top of the leaderboard. What would it mean to get that card?

ALINE KRAUTER: Yeah, it would mean the world for sure. I feel like it's pretty early on in my career, but it would be great to get that started this year. And getting to the LPGA pretty soon, that would be super exciting.

Q. How long have you been thinking about the LPGA Tour? Were you like a kid on the putting green, like this is to win the Chevron or anything like?

ALINE KRAUTER: Not really, no. I mean, coming into Stanford I wasn't even sure if I wanted to turn pro. I think having a pretty solid college career I was like, why not? Might as well give it a shot.

Q. Obviously want to stay calm, cool, collected. What else are you thinking out there tomorrow?

ALINE KRAUTER: Not really anything. Just a long flight on Monday. That's about it. (Laughter.)
