Q. All right, here with Bailey Tardy. Nice saucy little 5-under today. 67 out there. Played really well on the front; made a few birdies in a row. Just walk me through that font nine.

BAILEY TARDY: Yeah, you know, the par-5s I was able to reach in two, so just kind of really good lag putts there and made birdie.

Then almost holed out on No. 8. Kind of a backstop on 8 today where the pin was, so just kind of used that and had a little tap-in.

Had pretty good back nine though. I think I scrambled pretty well. Kind of messed up on a par-5 out of the a bunker. Yeah, I'm really proud of the way I played today. Really strong front nine, and just looking forward to tomorrow.

Q. You stuffed it on the last hole, arguably one of the tougher pin positions out here. Walk me through the second shot and the nervy little two-footer down the hill.

BAILEY TARDY: Yeah, it was actually up the hill, but that's okay. I hit 3-wood off the tee just to lay back to a less spinning club.

Yeah, I had 112 in. Kind of played it 115. I had that shot a lot today, so I was pretty confident in it.

Q. Let's talk about the obvious. You're in a really good position now, can kind of relax; 18 holes left to play. I know this is always a grind. It's never over until it's over. To be in position, like how are you feeling at this point?

BAILEY TARDY: I'm really proud of myself. After just three years of straight grinding, I think it's all kind of paying off this week and last week.

I'm trying to win this tournament, so there is money on the line. It would be a nice check to go into the off-season and, yeah, to start next year.

Q. What would it mean just to have that card in your hand by tomorrow's end? Again, if you don't want to answer, that's fine.

BAILEY TARDY: It would mean the world. It's something that I have dreamt of since I was little. Definitely been a goal of mine ever since I turned pro.

Yeah, I'm just going to stay calm tomorrow, and, again, just keep my same strategy and hopefully play well.

Q. Medal on the line, medalist on the line; found something out there today. Will you just apply the same thing? I think the weather will be pretty similar to tomorrow.

BAILEY TARDY: Yeah, it's kind of overcast and not really that windy today, so if the wind picks up tomorrow with the rain coming, yeah, just keep the same mindset and just take it one shot at a time.

Q. Final question. You may yell at me for this question. What's the drink on your hat?

BAILEY TARDY: It's a transfusion. I got it at a golf course in Florida. I don't know. I have a tiny head. It's a small fit and it was the only one they had.
