Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Jenny Coleman. Colorful is how I would describe your scorecard today. Really solid round though. Ground it out, 5-under. Just evaluate that day. Front nine looked insane.
JENNY COLEMAN: Yeah, just lots of birdies out there. Hit the ball well and sometimes just hit them to a couple feet or a lot inside about ten feet and still made some outside of that.
And then just couple mistakes kind of going long. Saw that yesterday, but, yeah, just clean it up a little bit and still works. You make some birdies; you can make some bogeys.
Q. I mean, having one par on the front nine, what was going through your head from 3 onward? You were kind of like birdie, birdie, bogey, like...
JENNY COLEMAN: Yeah, so, yeah, it was just -- yeah, when I was on, I was on. When I was a little off, it was a little off. That's just the way it is out here. If you don't hit the right tier you're going to be 45 feet away. You got to be on, on.
Q. Yeah. I know you primarily spend your time on the LPGA Tour. I know being back here is really where no one wants to be, but what has been your mindset coming into Q-Series this year and how hungry are you to get your status back and feeling kind of good?
JENNY COLEMAN: Yeah, just to go out here and play my game. I know it's good. It's just hopefully you have your week and play the best you can and see what it gives you.
Q. Is there any kind of -- I was talking to somebody the other day, it's almost like a mental thing, right, when you come back here? What have you done mentality to keep yourself in the moment?
JENNY COLEMAN: Just keep consistent routine, everything, have a clear picture before each shot and just execute.
Q. If somebody told you you would have two rounds with nine birdies in the six rounds of Q Series thus far, I mean, what do you think about that? That's pretty crazy.
JENNY COLEMAN: Honestly, I would probably laugh, but it's good to have. But, yeah, it's pretty impressive. Just something about that extra focus, that extra sharpness that can come out in tournament play that you just never know what's going to happen.
Q. Being on the LPGA, obviously, I mean, you feel like that helps you coming out here and kind of know what you're doing and...
JENNY COLEMAN: Yeah, yeah, we been playing pretty tough courses all season and you just see a lot of good play. You can see birdies with 5-irons and whatever to these tucked pins and you come out here and you got to do the same thing.
So, yeah. Just always putting your foot on the gas pedal.
Q. Love that. Just finally, mindset. Two rounds left. Thank goodness, I'm sure. What are you thinking heading into the next couple days?
JENNY COLEMAN: Just keep playing my game, keep focused on my lines and shots, and just, yeah.
