Q. 6-under with some birdies scattered throughout the whole round. How did that really keep you in your own game and keep you positive over such a long stretch of golf the next two weeks?

ERIKA SMITH: Yeah, I think with every birdie you just kind of like hope for more. It kind of gives you momentum going into the next hole, and if you can just keep it together for every shot, every swing, then it ends up pretty good.
