Quick Quotes
Q. Hot couple days and you've heated up on the scorecard, too. How do you reflect on those 36 holes?
MIN WOO LEE: I didn't start very good. I made a double on 4 yesterday. Other than that hole, I've played very solid throughout the other 32 holes.
So I'm pretty happy with where I am, and hopefully a couple more birdies on the weekend and get myself up there.
Q. How difficult is this course playing this year compared to previous?
MIN WOO LEE: It's definitely tougher. The rough is really juicy. Yeah, it's not fun when you're in the rough but if you can keep it on the fairway, it's pretty gettable. So I did that today, and yesterday was a bit more of a battle off the tee. Yeah, I had to regroup and hit more fairways.
Q. Driving stats are obviously key this week, and you're up there in those so far. How important do you think they will be going into the weekend?
MIN WOO LEE: Huge. I think the winner is probably going to come from someone who hits the most fairways and holes the most putts. Like I said, it's gettable if you do hit it on the fairway.
Yeah, it's not too tough if you do hit the fairways. Just hit the fairway.
Q. This will be a big weekend for yourself, not only for this tournament but you're on the precipice of the Top-50 in the World Rankings and lots of points on offer this weekend. How important will that be going into this weekend for you?
MIN WOO LEE: Yeah, it's obviously in the back of my mind, getting into the Masters next year and getting into a few of the major. I'm happy with the way my game is now. I'm not putting too much pressure on myself the last few months and it's working out.
I'm out there enjoying. Kids are following, and I was telling my caddie, that was me ten years ago. Just put a smile on their face, and keep playing good golf and hopefully it fixes everything.
