Q. Thoughts on an opening 70?

DAVID LAW: Good start. It was pretty tough. The rough's sort of, the ball sits right down on it and it's hard to move it any sort of distance. Greens are firm, so it's testing. Start with 2-under, I'm happy with that.

Q. How much of an emphasis is there on driving this week on this golf course?

DAVID LAW: Yeah, I think there's huge emphasis on driving as well as the iron play. It's important to get it in the fairway before you can sort of attack the pins.

Q. How nice is it to be here at the season-ending event?

DAVID LAW: Yeah, it's good. It's the first time I played this event. It was a goal at the start of the year. To be here is great. To do it in the way that we did it on Sunday birdieing the last hole to make this week was obviously an added bonus.

So we are enjoying it, at the same time as trying to be competitive and have a good week.

Q. And you had a good week obviously last week. Now nice to bring that sort of form into this week?

DAVID LAW: It's good. Again, more just positive mindset, a bit of patience with the game plan. I had an unfortunate one on 18 there. Picked my ball mark, thinking we had preferred lies, just didn't have it, had preferred lies last week, which is obviously a one-shot penalty. But kept the head and made par which was nice.
