Q. How does it feel to be in Venice this week and be competing again?

JENNIFER WELCH: Feels good. The month went by really fast. Feels good to be kind of getting back into this swing of things. Played Panther today and I'm amazed at how good the course looks based off just how bad I heard it got hit from the hurricane.

Q. Speaking of that, there was a hurricane that ripped through. That postponed the event, and then a tropical storm came through last week. What does it mean to you that the course has been working around the clock to be able have the event still and at these courses which everyone loves?

JENNIFER WELCH: It's huge. Absolutely. I can't imagine the hours that they had to put in. Not only is it cleaned up, it's in amazing shape. Greens are smooth. Fairways are plush. Yeah, they've done a great job.
