Quick Quotes
Q. All right, here with Lydia Ko after her second round at the Pelican Women's Championship. How does it feel for you and what's the strategy for you this week knowing that you have 18 less holes to play here at Pelican because of the hurricane?
LYDIA KO: Yeah, you know, I don't know if you need like different strategies or mindset at a three-day event. Obviously this week it's not like coming into the week we knew it would be a 54 hole, but, yeah, I'm just -- I don't think my game has been very sharp the last couple days, but there is still one more round to go so hoping to kind of bring the goods together a little bit tomorrow.
But, yeah, it's just not bad. I just don't think I'm taking advantage of the birdie opportunities, and then when I'm out of position not doing well there either. I think that's why I just haven't been able to score. I played well here before, so hopefully kind of channel all those good things for tomorrow.
Q. What are the incentives for you playing at this tournament knowing you have a win and you're already well into CME next week?
LYDIA KO: Yeah, just I feel like these next couple weeks are a bit of a bonus. Obviously with what Terry Duffy and CME has done to elevate our Tour Championship next week is very exciting for women's golf, and all 60 of the players that make it there have the chance to win and win the whole deal.
Yeah, I think it's exciting and it's been a great season so far. Yes, I would like to finish my season strongly, but no matter what happens these next couple weeks, I know there is still so many special memories to look back from. It's been very good season so far and I'm grateful about the things that have happened.
