THE MODERATOR: Your reactions after the match? What happened on court? Was she a better player? Did you feel like you didn't find your level?

VIKTORIA KUZMOVA: I think she played really amazing today. She didn't do any mistakes. It was really great play from her.

Yeah, I think I did my best today. I did what I could, and it was just not enough.

THE MODERATOR: It's still the first match. The tie is not over. How do you see Slovakia's chances for this tie and then to recover for the next one, as well?

VIKTORIA KUZMOVA: Yeah, it's a team competition. You know, anything can happen. I think we all gonna give everything we can for all the matches, and we will just hope for the best.

THE MODERATOR: What do you think you need to do better for next match?

VIKTORIA KUZMOVA: Well, it's tough to say. She was much better today at the important moments, so I think I just need to be a little bit more confident there (smiling).
