THE MODERATOR: I'm delighted to welcome to the interview room our 2022 Women's Amateur Asia Pacific champion, Ting-Hsuan Huang. With an 11-under par 277, she secured a three shot victory this afternoon.

Congratulations, first of all. You played so well. How does it feel to win this trophy?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Thank you. This is my first time participating in this tournament and I'm very excited. I really enjoyed the tournament, playing with very top players. Yeah, it's very fun.

THE MODERATOR: And what was the secret for you today? Obviously a lot of pressure out there; other players were in the lead. You seemed to stay very calm.

TING-HSUAN HUANG: No, I felt very nervous because Sim put some pressure on me. Front nine, I didn't do very well and my back nine - I think very positive, and then, yeah, I made it.

THE MODERATOR: How did you feel when you hit that approach into 18?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: I didn't think too much. I just felt very confident on that shot, so, yeah.

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Thank you.

Q. Do you think the turning point was the bunker shot that you hit on 12?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Oh, yes, uh-huh. It's very lucky. It's in the divot. I don't know, it's in the...

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, and I made it. I can't imagine that, yeah.

Q. Do you think that was the winning shot?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Oh, no, I didn't think so. I just told myself to play aggressive, and, yeah, that's it, just play aggressive.

Q. Congratulations. Had you played with Sim before and did you feel intimidated? She was driving the ball so far past you.

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Yeah, she hits very far and she's very a good player. So happy to play with her. I learnt a lot from her. Yeah, I think I still have some things to work on, and I learn from her.

Q. As beautiful as that trophy is that is next to you, what must be most pleasing is the fact that you get to play the AIG Women's Open as well as the Amundi Evian Championship and two other championships. Can you just tell us what all this means to you? You're just 17. Wow.

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Yeah, it means a lot to me, and I'm very lucky to win this tournament, and especially I want to thank Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation and the R&A.

And I'm really looking forward to playing the major tournaments with world top players.

Q. Can I ask if growing up who was somebody that (indiscernible)... you have Yani Tseng from your country. (Indiscernible.) Who else inspired you to play golf this well?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Yani Tseng. Yeah, she's my idol as well. She plays fantastic. She's a fantastic player, yeah. I hope I can be like her one day.

Q. Have you spoken to her? Have you played with her?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Yeah, I played with her. Sometimes I practice with her.

Q. (Regarding playing golf in college in U.S.) What about you? Have you ever thought about that?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Yeah, I plan to go to college next year and just play college golf, NCAA, and see how it goes.

Q. Any college you have chosen?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Yeah, University of Los Angeles, UCLA.

Q. Could you tell us at the start of the week what were your expectations? Did you expect to be among the contenders, and can you tell us when would you like to turn pro? Are you even thinking about that?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: I think I have a lot to learn, so play college golf and then learn from the experience and get more mature and then see how it goes and then turn pro maybe.

Q. So at the start of the week when you arrived here, what were your expectations?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: I didn't have any expectations, but I just tell myself to learn from other top players and enjoy the game. That's it.

Q. I was just going through all your records.

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Yeah.

Q. You seem to be winning the big ones. What's your mindset when you go into a big event like this one and win again?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: I'm very happy and...

Q. Do you prepare yourself differently for big events?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: No. Just practice. No.

Q. Congratulations. I noticed the name Tiffany on your yardage book. Where does that name comes from? How often do you use it, and...

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Because I have Ting-Hsuan, so just T, just Tiffany.

Q. Did someone make that for you or did you make it?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: My mom and my dad.

Q. You like to be called Tiffany?

TING-HSUAN HUANG: Yeah, just called Tiffany.
