Q. There's been some conversation about this maybe being the best MLS Cup in history. As someone who lived that, would you agree, and can you take us into the emotions of that insane match?

KELLYN ACOSTA: Yeah, I mean, as far as that goes, I feel like that's subjective. But the game had a little bit of everything for sure: Goals galore, going up a goal, going down a goal, scoring the last minutes of the game, PKs, yeah, I mean, it was a roller coaster. It was craziness.

But yeah, it was an incredible game, and shout out to Gareth, big goal, John McCarthy coming up big. We wish Max a speedy recovery, but I just have to shout out to my teammates, the staff, the organization, 3252. It was a collective effort tonight.

I'm proud of this moment, but I feel like we earned it. It was a testament to the whole year, all the trainings, all the travel, the meetings, the games, everything coming to fruition in this moment.

And we really earned it, and we are really excited with making history and having the first title for the club.

Q. When I was out here in April, we were talking about plays from your past and talking about your free kick approach as well. What were you looking at in that opening goal and how are you feeling now having finished the club season heading into the World Cup?

KELLYN ACOSTA: Yeah, it was a bit of fortune I guess. Took a slight deflection and was able to go in the goal. I told Carlos, I'm feeling it, and I was lucky enough for him to give it to me because usually if he wants it, I'm like, all right, it's Carlos Vela, right.

So I was like, I'll take it, but it on target and I was able to find it back in the net. But yeah, it was a nice goal to start with and I'm happy to score it.
