Quick Quotes
Q. Jeneath, I'm sure we're all aware what the highlight of your day was here at the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific. Tell us about that hole-in-one on the 7th.
JENEATH WONG: Yeah, I hit a pitching wedge. It was, I think, 104 metres slightly into the wind, and I hit it pretty well. I didn't think it was going to go in, but it went in. I was really surprised.
Q. And you saw it go in?
JENEATH WONG: Yeah.
Q. Was there a big celebration? How were you feeling?
JENEATH WONG: Just really excited. I didn't really want to make any more mistakes after that, but I need to try to keep the momentum after that.
Q. I believe that's your fourth hole-in-one, but the first time you've had one in a big championship like that. Does it make it even more special?
JENEATH WONG: Yes, it definitely makes it a lot more memorable. That will definitely be one of the highlights here.
Q. TV captured it, and I can see you got your phone in your hand there. Have you got a lot of nice messages from back home?
JENEATH WONG: I haven't really checked yet, but I'm pretty sure a few.
Q. Talk to us about the rest of your round. How did you find it out there?
JENEATH WONG: I didn't play too great. I missed a couple of greens, but I finished 2-under in total. So it wasn't too bad.
Q. And how are you feeling heading into the weekend?
JENEATH WONG: Just really happy and thrilled just to play in this tournament. I just want to do my best and just see how it goes.
