Quick Quotes
Q. 2-under here in the second round of the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific. Are you happy with that performance today?
AUDREY TAN: Yes, I'm happy with that performance. It's definitely better than yesterday, but I feel like I still left a few shots out there, so there's still room for improvement for tomorrow.
Q. Talk us through the round; what stood out as highlights for you?
AUDREY TAN: I think I made some clutch par putts that really helped me keep that momentum. Still missed a few long shots, but yeah, putting definitely came in today.
Q. The greens out here are quite tricky. They're very slopey. It must fill you with confidence to know that you're rolling it well?
AUDREY TAN: Yes, it's very pure, so I love these greens. They're running smooth. They're running fast. I love them.
Q. What do you feel like you need to do over the next few days?
AUDREY TAN: I feel like I need to find my rhythm full swing wise just to get the ball flying a little straighter. That would definitely help.
Q. In a nice position heading into the weekend; are you feeling confident?
AUDREY TAN: Yes. I mean, I'm just going to go out there and do the same things, enjoy my round and enjoy playing here.
Q. The Malaysian girls are playing so well this week; what's your secret?
AUDREY TAN: I'm not sure; you'll have to ask them. I'm just here.
Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your year since we saw you last year.
AUDREY TAN: Yeah, gosh, it's been a good year. A couple highlights in the U.S., college golf-wise, so I think that definitely helped me come into this event. I just finished an event the day before I flew, so it's been pretty hectic, but just loving the game really, just enjoying myself out there, playing and just taking whatever I get, and just enjoying this opportunity to play here again.
