Q. So you should be. Can you talk us through the 18th hole and how you made your birdie?

NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: So on the tee shot, I used the driver, and I drive. My second shot is 230 yards. I use hybrid 19 degrees. I hit to the right of the green, and I use 60 degree to chip, and I putt in. That's it.

Q. Your nickname is Sim 300 because you can hit the ball so far. Is that a big benefit on this course?

NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Yeah, big benefit. It makes my games very easy.

Q. You played so well in this championship last year, and we're playing in your home Thailand this year. Does that make you want to win even more?

NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Yeah, I want to win even more. It's not only because it's in Thailand. Last year I missed becoming the champion. So this year I want to come back to be the champion.

Q. Great start for you today. What do you feel like you need to do for the next three days to keep the momentum?

NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: So I'm just going to do the same thing as today. Driver, then close shot near to the pin, putting like that, keep going.

Q. Last year I know that you made lots of new friends at this championship, including Mizuki. Today you played with Saki. Have you made lots of new friends as well this year?

NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Yeah, I talked to her today.
