RIANNE MIKHAELA MALIXI: Yeah, I'm pretty satisfied, especially with my strong finish.
Q. Talk to us about that strong finish; how did you go?
RIANNE MIKHAELA MALIXI: I birdied three of the last six holes, I believe, and I was able to convert some putts out there.
Q. Do you think putting was the key to your success today?
RIANNE MIKHAELA MALIXI: I think it was more of the combination of iron shots and putting, more of the combination.
Q. You played very well at this championship last year. What have you been working on over the past year and how are you feeling this week?
RIANNE MIKHAELA MALIXI: I've been working more on my iron shots and putting, just maybe more the conversion of the putts. Yeah, that was my main focus this year.
Q. You have a very experienced caddie out there with you this week; was he giving you some good advice, and how did that work?
RIANNE MIKHAELA MALIXI: Yeah, we were more focused on our numbers and on our clubs. We have pretty good teamwork out there. It was a really good day.
Q. How did that team come about? How did you guys connect?
RIANNE MIKHAELA MALIXI: He's my coach.
Q. So he's getting a really good look into your game and how you play?
RIANNE MIKHAELA MALIXI: Mm-hmm.
Q. Having started so well, what's your plan for the next three days?
RIANNE MIKHAELA MALIXI: Same game plan, just trying to be patient and trying to convert more putts.
