THE MODERATOR: Sloane, you're on quite a run here in Guadalajara. Pretty good streak. How are you feeling here?

SLOANE STEPHENS: Yeah, good. Obviously, the court suits me well. Altitude suits me well. It's nice to have some more wins. Well, obviously at the beginning of the season and end of the season.

Happy with how I'm playing and looking forward to getting out there tomorrow again.

Q. First time for the Guadalajara Open, like a Masters Mille. I want to know your opinion about the tournament.

SLOANE STEPHENS: It's great. Obviously, I was here in February, and I had a great experience. Now that they've updated the tournament, there's more space, there's more courts. We're playing on the grandstand.

They've done a lot of amazing things with the tournament, and I think the effort they put in really shows, which makes it nicer for the players.

Obviously, this being the last tournament of the season for a lot of players, it's nice to end on a good note in a positive way in a place that's really nice and super accommodating.

Q. How do you feel today, and do you have any trouble with the weather, the altitude?

SLOANE STEPHENS: Yeah, the altitude is tricky. It takes a couple of days to get used to. But I think it's tricky for everyone, so everyone is in the same boat. So you just have to go out there and play and kind of find your rhythm and find your way.

Yeah, it's worked for me. It worked for me in February, and obviously here now with two good wins, it's going in the right direction.

Q. Next match, next step versus Caroline Garcia. What do you expect from that match?

SLOANE STEPHENS: I think it will be another good match. We've played some really good battles in the past. Obviously, the altitude is a little bit of an outlier in there, so just looking forward to getting out there again tomorrow and playing some good tennis.

Q. Do you expect to receive a lot of love from the Mexican fans?

SLOANE STEPHENS: Yeah, they've been great. They were great in February and great now.

Obviously yesterday, or two days ago when I played, they were great. Tonight they were amazing. Playing on center court is always incredible. Looking forward to seeing them tomorrow also.

Q. You won six months ago in this place. How do you feel?

SLOANE STEPHENS: I feel good. Obviously, Guadalajara suits my game well, and I've been playing some good tennis here.

So I probably have the most wins on the tour in Guadalajara this season (laughing). So it's been nice for me. Obviously, I've had some good results and some good memories, so just looking forward to getting out there tomorrow.
