Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Hyo Joo Kim. Evaluate your round. Pretty solid day it looked like.
HYO JOO KIM: So I think I created a lot more chances today than I did yesterday. Although I did miss a couple of chances that I created, but overall, it wasn't too bad and I think if I focus a little bit more tomorrow, I'll be able to do better.
Q. Do you have any kind of local knowledge about Oak Valley? I know you're from the area. Have you played this golf course quite a bit and if you have, how has that helped you this week?
HYO JOO KIM: So I used the practice range a lot but I haven't really been on the course that often. So no, I have not really played here, so I don't have any real knowledge on the course.
Q. What's it been like being able to play in front of really your hometown crowd? I know we talked about the Korean players being at home but you are at home. What's that experience been like with a hometown crowd?
HYO JOO KIM: It's really, really nice. Obviously this is my hometown. It's my dad's hometown. He works and lives here. So I get to see him a lot more often. I get to eat at home and I also get to meet a lot of folks that I can't meet normally. So it's been really good.
Q. And finally, you're in the mix heading into the weekend. Going to be a handful back but pretty good place heading into Saturday and Sunday. What's the mindset and what positives from the first two days will you carry with you as you move forward?
HYO JOO KIM: So I think for the last two days, I didn't make any critical mistakes, so I have to continue that. I'll have to think about the last two rounds and really good forward with any lessons I get there, and I just hope that I have two rounds, remaining two rounds without any regrets. And like you mentioned, this is my hometown, so I hope that I can do well in front of a home crowd.
