Quick Quotes
Q. Solid day, you're 6-under through two rounds, solid week so far. Evaluate the last couple of days?
EMILY KRISTINE PEDERSEN: Yeah, I've been playing really solid. The main thing is I've only got one bogey which is what I've been struggling with this year. I've made enough birdies but too many bogeys on the card. Today I playing really solid. I hit 17 greens and had a lot of chances, and hopefully a few more of those will drop on the weekend.
Q. Any highlights stand out in terms of birdies on the card?
EMILY KRISTINE PEDERSEN: No eagles. I mean, they are all pretty solid, like ten to 12 feet, and like textbook kind of thing. Nothing really special.
Q. You're known as a long-ball hitter. When you're that far off the tee, golf courses with these elevation changes, how much does that help you?
EMILY KRISTINE PEDERSEN: It does help me. I've just been not really good with my wedges. I would say it's not been that much of an advantage so far. I'm hoping to hit a few more wedges close over the weekend. But yeah, it's definitely nice to be striking it well.
Q. And being in contention, you've been in contention a couple times this season, how good does it feel to be back here at a no cut event with end of the season coming up?
EMILY KRISTINE PEDERSEN: It's great. You're right. I've been in contention a few times. Hopefully I can be in contention all of the weekend so as not to suffer the first two days. Yeah, I hope I can do that.
