Q. What is it about you guys extra innings? What makes you so dangerous?

OSCAR GONZALEZ: We maintain the same focus. We just keep focusing on doing the small things and putting the ball in play and that has given us results.

Q. Last Saturday, you win with a home run and today with a bloop single. What does that show about your game, your offensive game?

OSCAR GONZALEZ: I think it shows just the approach. I just try to help the team win and luckily, we are getting good results out of that. I don't know, I just thank God for giving me that opportunity and getting me those results.

Q. What's the feeling like with Emmanuel Clase on the mound in a close game?

OSCAR GONZALEZ: You get an extra sense of security. It's no secret to know who Clase is and what he does on the mound. We know he's always bringing his A Game and he's always ready to bring his best on the mound.

Q. We talk about how enjoyable it is to watch Jose Ramirez and what's do offensively. What can you learn from what he can do on the base paths and what he can do when he's running?

OSCAR GONZALEZ: It's no secret how aggressive he is on the bases and the standard that he sets. We know how good a player he is. He's a good example to follow and he always tells me that, play hard, because you never know what can happen.

Q. You started the year in the minors. At that point was there any way that you could have envisioned how critical a role you would play on this postseason team?

OSCAR GONZALEZ: I normally try not to took too much into the future. I just focus on today and what I can do to work. God has given me the talent to play this game, so to me, just continue to work, and I'm fortunate to be in this position and to be helping the team today.
