Q. Jodi, you have waited for this moment for over a decade. You're a highly regarded pro. You ave played on three Solheim Cup teams. What does this moment mean to you to finally get your first LPGA win?

JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, it's a little bit surreal really. I don't think -- I didn't know if this moment would ever come. I'm just really grateful for everybody who is on my team, because last year was really hard, and I'm standing here because of them.

So, yeah, just really grateful.

Q. Speaking of hard, it's not easy to play with a four-shot lead, and that four-shot lead disappeared. What did you say to yourself and how did you gather yourself to get it done on the back nine?

JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, I just tried to take each shot as it came and just stayed really patient. I didn't know what was going to happen, so I just tried to stay within myself and hit as good of shots as I could and try to stay present.

Q. You've always been regarded as one the best ball strikers, and you showed that on this difficult golf course. Your putter won it for you this week. How good does it feel to have a golden putter in your hand?

JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, literally. Yeah, it's a big boost of confidence. I've always struggled with putting and it's been a source of frustration for a long time, but this week it was the best part of my game, so, yeah. I think practicing putting goes a long way.
