Q. The OWGR came out with a reaction last night. Just wanted to get your response, if you feel like maybe they're slow playing you guys a little bit?

BROOKS KOEPKA: Yeah, I don't think it really was much of a response. I just hate when you sit on the fence. Just pick a side. If it's yes or no, just pick one. So I'm not a big fan of that.

Yeah, not to say something to where it's not really an answer and we'll think about it. I don't agree with -- just pick a side. If it's yes, if it's no, it's fine, we'll figure it out from there.

BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: They're delaying the inevitable. We've hit every mark in their criteria, so for us not to get points is kind of crazy with having the top -- at least I believe we have the top players in the world.

Not all of them, but we certainly believe that there's enough that are in the top 50, and we deserve to be getting world ranking points. When they keep holding it back, they're going to just keep playing a waiting game where we're going to keep dropping down in the rankings to where our points won't ever matter. That's what they're trying to accomplish, and I hope that people can see right through that rather than believe the lies that they've been told. From my perspective, I think we deserve points.

Q. Were you disappointed it didn't happen for this tournament?

BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: Well, it can still be retroactive, I believe, so I hope they give it to us.

Q. It seemed like this course would maybe play to the bombers, but it's a pretty big mix of players up at the top of the leaderboard. What did you think of the course today?

BROOKS KOEPKA: I thought the golf course was pure. It's in pretty great shape, especially with all the rain we've had. I think for as dry as it is, it's very impressive. This golf course esthetically is very, very pretty. It's probably one of the best condition-wise I think you've probably seen, probably ever played arguably, but it's a good golf course. It sets up really well for the bombers, wide fairways, but also if you're hitting it good, around the greens you can chip it and kind of do what you want with it, so if you do miss greens, you shouldn't make too many bogeys.

BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: The pins were tucked in some locations today, and you had to be a good ball striker with your iron play, and I think that's why you see a lot of good ball strikers up there on the leaderboard, not necessarily people that hit it really, really far. It's key to have good iron play, and if you putt it well you're going to give yourself a lot of good chances with key ball-striking.

Q. How do you feel about the fan support on the golf course?

BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: The fan support, they've been great out here, super supportive. They're just excited to see some high-level golf, so it's great to have their support, and look forward to coming back for years to come.

BROOKS KOEPKA: It's been great. It's been probably five years since I've been back and played here. But it's been awesome. They've been super supportive. Good turnout today, a lot of fans, so happy to see it. I know we're happy to see it, and just put on a good show for them.

Q. Bryson, last night you were working really hard on the range with your swing, and I think somehow you clicked, and I think you found something last night. --

BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: It didn't work today.

Q. Was it a struggle out there --

BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: Yeah, it was definitely a struggle with my driver. Coming off of Long Drive, it's not the same swing, so trying to rekindle that driver swing I have that helps it go straight. I have the distance, just not accurate one bit.

Q. Did you think there was a 7-under out there today? I'm looking at the card, you've got three par-5s that are 637, 626, 603, the other one is 584. The par-4s are super deep; they're all over 500. Is there an 8- or 9-under out there?

BROOKS KOEPKA: Yeah, I think it could have been a lot more. Just for me personally, I think 5-under was probably about the worst score I could have shot. I mean, I struck it beautifully today, hit a lot of good putts, just hit a bunch of edges. Yeah, I mean, I think you could shoot something deep.

BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: Yeah, same thing, I just drove it poorly, hit my irons pretty well. The putting, around the greens was solid. I just hit myself into some bunkers and got up under the lip on a few of them and had to chip out.
