Quick Quotes
Q. How is Epson impacting the game of women's golf this year, and what changes have you noticed from years past?
LAURA WEARN: It's been great. The entry fees have gone down, the purses have gone up. It's been really cool to see their commitment to, I guess, the women's game.
Then I can even tell at the pro-ams there's so many Epson people there and just them being here and having a presence has been really cool, and just to see how committed they are and all the employees are to our Tour is really exciting.
Q. What changes do you continue to hope to see or do you hope to see for the future of the Tour?
LAURA WEARN: I mean, I think just continue to -- the level of play has gone up, so hopefully entry fees will continue to go down and the purses will continue to go up because the players here are so good, but I think over time all that will happen, especially with Epson's support.
Q. Can you talk to me about your season and what you expect with the wrap-up?
LAURA WEARN: Yeah, I got off to a slow start, as well, but the second half has been a lot better. I need a win to get in the top 10 this week, so that's kind of what I'm shooting for, but either way there's been a lot of ups and downs, and I feel like I learned a lot, and just going to try to get ready for Q-school.
Q. Having played LPGA International before, does that make you a little bit more comfortable practicing, or how does it ease the pressure of needing a win?
LAURA WEARN: Yeah, I've played here so many times. I won here in 2019 so have a lot of really good memories. I know the course really well, so I think just knowing I can do it gives me a little bit of hope. But it's going to take a lot because people are so good and the scores are going to be so low. It'll take a little luck, as well.
