ALFRED DUNHILL LINKS CHAMPIONSHIP

September 30, 2022

Antoine Rozner

St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland

Quick Quotes

Q. So you played the toughest course in the worst weather and you're still hanging in there at the tournament. You must be feeling tired?

ANTOINE ROZNER: Very tired. I'm very proud of myself to be honest today because it was such a grind. It was probably one of the worst days of my life.

I'm just really happy with the score. 2-over is great, and, yeah, I didn't make a lot of mistakes, a few bogeys on the greens but the rest was pretty solid. We fought hard. Really proud.

Q. What's the mindset when the weather is terrible, does it change things?

ANTOINE ROZNER: Of course, because usually you're trying to be aggressive, and today was just about making pars. So on every tee box, we were like, what's the best play to actually make a par. We did that really well.

And I don't know, you know in the rain, it was just lucky golf to be honest. I was just hitting swings and had no clue where the ball was going to go. Honestly I'm very happy.

Q. Just your second time playing this tournament. It's a bit of a unique one; apart from the weather, is it one you enjoy playing?

ANTOINE ROZNER: It's a great event. It's special. It's so different than what we usually have. But it's enjoyable, yeah.

It's too bad the weather is not great but if this was good weather, I think this would be one of the best tournaments of the year for sure.
