FREDERIC LACROIX: Yeah, it's a low one. It's always nice to go low. I had a few longer putts that dropped and that makes it, yeah, 10-under, I didn't really realise until I came to 18.

Q. Great day for the French players, Roman lag as equalled the course record at St Andrews. How nice to have a French winner?

FREDERIC LACROIX: We had it last year and Victor showed us it's possible. If we can follow in his footsteps, I'll try to do that.

Q. Could you talk us through the eagles?

FREDERIC LACROIX: 9, I hit a really nice drive, middle of the fairway and I had a perfect number to win my 3-iron to pitch it in the slope and to stop it just close to the pin. I had like three or four paces to the pin and made the putt.

And on 16, I hit a pretty good 4-iron in there on the right side. It wasn't playing for the pin. It was just playing for the green really and just made that putt. It was a bit fast and I hit the pin and dropped.

Q. What about the team aspect to this event, is it an enjoyable experience for you?

FREDERIC LACROIX: It's not like any other Pro-Am because you only play with one amateur player. But actually today was great. Pace of play was all right and weather was nice. We had a good group today and I really enjoyed it.

Q. Weather will be different tomorrow, but you'll be play St Andrews, looking forward that anyway?

FREDERIC LACROIX: Yeah, see if we can get a few holes in because if it stays like the forecast says, I can't see a lot of play going on. We'll see how it goes.
