Quick Quotes
Q. Sebastian, you sat out the morning foursome session. What did you do to prepare yourself for the four-ball this afternoon?
SEBASTIAN MUĂ‘OZ: Rest. Rest was really important for me, at least. I waited in the cabin for the guys, trying to get things going and focus on my match for the afternoon.
Q. Sungjae, what has it been like to play with this team and rally to get some points this afternoon?
SUNGJAE IM: Today is very well. Muñoz has many putt and he make it. He's very comfortable. This whole day very comfortable today.
Q. Why such a productive duo, you and Sungjae Im being able to put points on the board for the international team?
SEBASTIAN MUĂ‘OZ: I feel like there's trust between us. I feel like we know each other for a while now, and, you know, we rely on each other's games. Plus, we support each other emotionally and whatever it takes out here.
So you know, we combine really good two days in a row and looking for a good Sunday.
Q. Sungjae, what makes it so great to play with a guy like this?
SUNGJAE IM: As a person, he's very good. Today is a very important putt in the make for Muñoz. Sungjae is very comfortable, and they play very well.
Q. Half point yesterday. Full point today. What did you do so well today?
SEBASTIAN MUĂ‘OZ: I feel like we combined really good today. Sungjae is an amazing player. You know he's going to shine. You know he's going to have his moments of brilliance.
I've just got to keep him, you know, like in the game. And I just did my little bit, and it paid off.
Q. Tomorrow is a different day. You don't have a partner, Sungjae, as we're joined by vice captain, K.J. Choi. What attitude do you need to bring to the golf course tomorrow in singles play?
SUNGJAE IM: So more focusing tomorrow. The U.S. team, everybody very strong. I need more concentration all day tomorrow. So rest tonight and come out tomorrow fighting.
Q. Sebastian, the captain Trevor Immelman has been preaching for you guys to play with freedom, to play relaxed. Are you still in that mindset right now, heading into the final day?
SEBASTIAN MUĂ‘OZ: Yeah, absolutely. I feel like we play aggressive golf whenever we play with freedom, whenever we're not shy. We're going to need a big one tomorrow, so play bold.
