Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Atthaya Thitikul. What a round. 10-under, ties the tournament record. You finished with an eagle and two birdies. Just walk me through your day if you can sum it up.
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: I mean, like I had a really good game even yesterday, but I just didn't make the putt that much.
Today, same I guess. I mean, like hit a pretty good shot and then just keep rolling the ball, patient, and make the putt more than yesterday. Just missed a couple as well, but, yeah, totaling pretty good.
Q. I would say pretty good. Finished 29 on your back nine, which is the front nine. Walk me through the final nine holes. What was the mindset?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: Actually was like blank. I think my mind of blank and just nothing there. Just hit a shot, just tap it in, putt it in. Just like totally blank. You know, like I think when I play really good golf or shoot like really low score my mindset is like blank. It's really good to keep that blank mind for tomorrow.
Q. Looking to the last three holes, you made eagle, birdie, birdie. Obviously hit it pretty close there on 9. About six feet. 7, what was the eagle?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: Just I had like 210 yards from the second shot, and 4-irons, and I think it's land like before the green and bounces like two foot, something like that.
Yeah, short putt.
Q. Then birdied the 8th. What happened there?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: I think today 8, it's quite tough pin, like because like the slope, just only three or four yards left to right, but I just hit it really good. I was like, oh, okay. I'll take it there.
Q. As you look ahead to the tomorrow, obviously already plenty of experience in the final group on the LET; you won earlier this year. What experience will you be drawing upon as you look ahead to tomorrow?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: I mean, it's a lot of -- I pretty feel like it's a lot of like things going to go in tomorrow, because like we have really good players out here on the LPGA Tour.
I think just do my best out there and I'm trying to enjoy every moment of it. You're not going to be in the same moment anymore so, yeah, just keep trying my best.
Q. How excited are you to sleep on -- it's really weird say this -- the 36-hole lead after just three days here?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: I think I really like three days. It's easy. It's easy. Like three days and then you get a rest.
But, I mean, I really like the course and really like the format here.
Q. Finally, what would it mean to capture your second tour title in a very short amount of time, within your first year on the LPGA?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: I think everyone that play out here want to win; I want to win as well.
Just like every week that we play we want to win, and just like if it's your day, it's your day, like I said every single time.
If it's not, then it's not. Just keep trying again.
But if I can win tomorrow, which mean my number two on the tour, it's pretty -- I take it's going to be pretty special. If not, yeah, it's just, yeah, another (indiscernible) you have to learn.
