Q. Here with Isi Gabsa after her first round. Pretty solid round for you today, 4-under. What was working so well out there? What do you like about this course and how does it suit your game?

ISI GABSA: I hit a lot of good wedge shots, pretty close ones, so got some nice birdies going on the front.

I really like the course. The greens are in great condition. It gives you chances to get some birdies, but also like some longer holes where you have to hit good shots and good drives off the tee to be in position.

So it's a good mix out of both.

Q. Have you played here before?

ISI GABSA: Yes.

Q. What do you like about playing in this tournament every year?

ISI GABSA: Just setup of the course, the food. Yeah, so like my housing is great, so like just a combination out of everything.

Q. Does playing in a three-day event change your game plan at all going in knowing you have less holes to do really well?

ISI GABSA: Not really. Just take it one day at a time and we'll see.

Q. What's the strategy for tomorrow? What are you hoping to learn from today?

ISI GABSA: I think it will play quite a bit firmer tomorrow with playing in the afternoon, so I have to see like tomorrow how it plays out.

Other than that, just sticking to it and taking my chances on the shorter holes, yeah.
