Q. Corey, I know not the result you wanted. Can you sum up what that match was all about?

COREY CONNERS: Pretty cool feeling, getting going out here. A lot of people, you know, international fans cheering us on. Quite a few U.S. fans as well.

It was really cool atmosphere getting going. We just didn't get off to the best start in the match. We battled back nicely. Just couldn't get the important putts to go in at the end there.

But I felt like we battled hard. It was a lot of fun. Sungjae is a great partner and hopefully we'll get another shot together and be on the other side.

Q. Was the slower start due to anything other than just them playing well?

COREY CONNERS: Yeah, you know, I think we played pretty solid. We were in a couple tricky little spots. They were certainly ready to go from the beginning, played really solid.

So, yeah, they certainly didn't give us any holes throughout the round. They were tough to beat today.

Q. It's going to be a tough comeback tomorrow to go back, but what's the mood going to be like? Just go out and get it again?

COREY CONNERS: I think we're going to learn a lot from today. I think we're going to be just as hungry to get back out there. It's a pretty sweet feeling playing for the international squad.
