Q. Well, you are the champion. How does that feel?

KRISSY CARMAN: I'm in disbelief. Feels amazing. (Laughter.)

Q. How awesome is it to do it with your whole family here? You guys are all decked out in the same gear, mom, the husband, and Conrad.

KRISSY CARMAN: So amazing. Like obviously I planned out our outfits for the week. I was just hoping that we would be able to wear all the matching ones, and it happened.

Q. Obviously this is kind of a war of attrition out there. You played a lot of golf this week. How were you able to hold it together today?

KRISSY CARMAN: I felt like I was a little sluggish out there compared to the prior days, but, I mean, just Aliea was out there, too, grinding all week. It's been hot. Kind of hard on our bodies a little bit. We duked it out and kept going.

Q. We talked about it yesterday, the essence of this championship, working women, women with families. How much does it mean to you to do this as a mother?

KRISSY CARMAN: Oh, my gosh, I never really thought honestly that it would happen. I would obviously hope, but, yeah, I just can't thank my husband enough, because he really was the one who got me back playing last summer.

We joined out at Shadow Hills in Junction City, and he really encouraged me to do tournaments. He was just like, Hey, if you win the Mid-Am you get to go to the U.S. Open. Let's do it. I was like, oh, you're so funny. Ha, ha.

Q. Has it sunk in yet, you'll be playing at Pebble Beach next year, first time the Women's Open is at Pebble Beach?

KRISSY CARMAN: Yeah, no. It's amazing. My siblings, everyone was just like, do it, do it, do it. It's incredible. Like you got it. Do it.

So I just had so much support the past couple weeks and past couple months playing in events again.

Q. Can you tell the story of how you kind of picked the game back up when you brought Conrad on to the course in a stroller?

KRISSY CARMAN: Yeah. So I had like a really hard delivery with Conrad, and then I didn't get to play at all that summer after he was born. It wasn't until the following spring, summer, we just went out to Pine Ridge Golf Course out in Springfield, Oregon and decided to bring him in the jogging stroller. I strapped my clubs up underneath and he just loved it.

We were like, okay, we'll play nine, see how it goes. We were able to play 18, and then we did it again and then we did it again, and then we realized that this could be a thing.

So that's what propelled us to join out at Shadow Hills. They've been super gracious and they're super family oriented, so they're just like, go get it. Like bring him out there, let him run free.

We're in a good spot.

Q. That's awesome. How are you going to celebrate this? I mean, southwest Florida, beautiful sunshine, you got a trophy, you got your whole family.

KRISSY CARMAN: We're going to Disney World. (Laughter.)

Q. That's awesome. I did hear that in the cart. How many days? What's the plan down there?

KRISSY CARMAN: Just after we're all done with all this stuff we're just going to cruise up to Orlando and watch the fireworks and have some dinner there tonight.

We're just going to spend two days up there and then fly home late, late, late on Saturday.

Q. How are you going to get preparation now for the U.S. Open?

KRISSY CARMAN: Oh, man.

Q. Women's Open, sorry.

KRISSY CARMAN: Just get ready and just practice and kind of keep doing what we're doing and just soak it all in and just... I just can't believe it.

KRISSY CARMAN: Thank you so much.
