Q. Maybe some thoughts on Tom Kim, what he brings to the team and how he's been with the team for these few days.

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: We played together first time at (indiscernible). I thought he was a great player. He's obviously speaking perfect English, but it feels like he's mixing with the team really well. So a great player.

Q. What's the most impressive thing about his game?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I feel like he's got a great tee shot and short game. So I think he's really good at (indiscernible).

Q. Are there specific areas of this golf course that you really like?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Yes, it's a very challenging golf course, and that's something that I really like about it. Each hole is very challenging, so you've really got to hit good target, tee shot, second shot, or else you'll get in trouble. So I think the challenging part is my favorite part.

Q. (Indiscernible) is there anything in specific you look for in terms of short irons?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: To be honest, I feel like I wasn't playing that good. So I'm not really sure about that stat. I wasn't playing very well.

Q. When you're playing alternate shot, how do you decide whose ball to use?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I have no problem with using a different ball. So I'll rely that on them.

Q. How did you like your new driver last week?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Yes, it was pretty wild last week, but I'm feeling pretty good this week. So I'm looking forward to it.

Q. This is a pretty big tournament. If your team could pull off this upset, what would it mean for you in your career?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Yes, that will mean very big for me. Winning on a team event is something that you don't really get to experience in a regular TOUR season. So we're hoping to do that.

I'm pretty sure Adam is hoping for a lot more. So, yeah, looking forward to it.

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Simply this is where I belong.

Q. If there were ever a PGA TOUR/LIV Golf event, would you play in that?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I can't decide something like that because there's nothing specific about it.
